There are various types of Air Conditioning systems:

• Wall mounted Unit mounted on wall at high level, one of the most common units.
  
• Cassette Ceiling mounted unit, recessed into the ceiling void.
  
• Under ceiling Ceiling mounted unit, suspended below the ceiling.
  
• Floor mounted Unit mounted on the wall at floor level.
  
• Ducted Unit mounted in a ceiling void, with ducts delivering conditioned air to the space being conditioned.
  
• Monoblock Self contained mobile unit, generally used for spot cooling. Requires a ventilation hose to outside.
